The Islip Bulletin is getting ready to debut its brand-new website, after months working on a rebranding effort. The site will feature additional web-only content, more multimedia, an enhanced community calendar, and more. The web address will remain the same, www.islipbulletin.net. In addition to the website redesign, the Islip Bulletin will debut its print redesign at the end of January.
“After several iterations, this new site will bring our business to the next level. It will provide our readers with more content, photos, and information about our community,” said Bulletin publisher John “Terry” Tuthill IV. “The site will keep readers coming back and make us the ‘go-to’ site for all that is southern Islip Town. Our new print design will also bring us up to date, and provide content in a more readable fashion. We are very excited to share this with our loyal readers!”
The Islip Bulletin, which covers the southwestern portion of Islip Township (Bay Shore, Brightwaters, East Islip, Islip, West Islip, Islip Terrace and Great River), was first published in 1948. Both the Islip Bulletin and the Suffolk County News were sold in August 1985 to John T. Tuthill III and wife, Lorilei P. Tuthill. Upon Tuthill’s passing in 2018, his son Terry took over as publisher.
The new website will be launched on Jan. 2 and can be found at islipbulletin.net. To give feedback or suggest changes, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
