William Floyd High School principal Philip Scotto recently conferred the Principal’s Award to the top 10 students for the William Floyd High School Class of 2024. This year’s Principal’s Award list features a talented group of students who are planning to attend college next fall, with varying majors including integrative biology, literature, mathematics, pre-med, biology, chemistry, computer science, English and psychology.

 GRADUATION AND PROM

Graduation is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, at William Floyd High School. It will be livestreamed via the district’s YouTube channel. Prom is scheduled for Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m. at Villa Lombardi’s.

It’s a “Gatsby” theme this year and 500 students are expected to attend. Students must be in good standing and complete pre-prom requirements (assembly with a COPE officer about the dangers of impaired driving, must complete an assignment about the rules for prom, code of conduct, social host laws, etc. Good standing also includes grades and attendance.)
