Annual Old-Timers’ Game

Posted

The Village of Patchogue Parks and Recreation Department held the 41st annual Old-Timers’ Game last weekend. A total of 40 registered players took turns playing during the game, which lasted over two hours. The village’s very own Dick Mauer threw out the first pitch of the game. Also, hot dogs were served, and T-shirts and hats were given to all registered players sponsored by the Village of Patchogue. Trustees Brinkman, Thomas Ferb, and Kevin Weeks were also in attendance. Maria Giustizia, director of Parks and Recreation; William Hilton, special events coordinator; Charlie Collins, parks supervisor; and Bryan Seckler, village electrician, assisted in making this event yet another memorable celebration.
