On Saturday, Oct. 26, the Town of Islip hosted its 44th annual Apple Festival at the Islip Grange in Sayville on Broadway Avenue.
This year’s festivities featured craft vendors, a family fun zone, amusement rides, festival food court, fresh apple desserts, pony rides, a petting zoo and live music by Southbound and The Other Two, an acoustic duo.
“It’s great living in the Town of Islip. There are so many events year-round from our Drive-In Movies to our summer concert series. We care about our residents, and the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs staff takes great pride in putting together these fun-filled events for families and visitors. From our Spooktacular Halloween Drive-In Movie to our Holiday Market and Holiday Drive-In Movie, there is something for everyone,” said Islip Town supervisor, Angie Carpenter.
Tens of thousands of people attended this year’s Apple Festival.
