Whether you spend a day in the Big Apple or a week seeing a Broadway show, it should definitely be on your to-do list. If a Broadway show outing isn’t quite within your budget, self-proclaimed theatre enthusiast Brian Stoll has you covered!
From 6 to 7:30 p.m., Stoll will present at the Bay Shore-Brightwaters Public Library his program called “Broadway on a Budget!” During his presentation, Stoll will discuss all things Broadway, starting with the history and importance of the signature Broadway Playbill. He will also provide a variety of money-saving ways to see Broadway shows for under $60 a ticket.
Stoll is from West Islip and works as a library assistant at Touro University. Since graduating from Binghamton University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in human development, he has attended over 300 Broadway performances, rarely paying over $60 a ticket! In 2017, he started delivering interactive presentations, mainly at libraries across the tri-state area, both in-person and virtually, with the goal of encouraging patrons to support the arts and take advantage of their proximity to Broadway and beyond.
