Local businesses, organizations, bands, kids, adults, pets, and even exotic animals took to the streets, cheered on by attendees who gathered throughout Patchogue adorned in Irish pride. A smiling, waving Marty McIndoe sported his sash and drove proudly along the parade route with his wife, Martha. The two greeted their beloved community along the way and were followed by a group of their friends and family. “Thank you to everyone who made the St. Patrick’s Day parade so amazing,” McIndoe posted to Facebook after the event.

“What an amazing, beautiful day! The parade was exceptional and our grand marshal, Deacon Marty, led the line of marchers with distinction!” said Patchogue Chamber of Commerce executive director David Kennedy. “Congrats to our parade trophy winners: Best in Parade, The Rock Underground Music School; Most Irish, Long Island Soda Systems; and Best Pipe Band, Northport Pipe and Drums.”
