Suffolk County Police To Auction Sailboat

The Suffolk County Police Department is auctioning off a sailboat on June 26 at Marine Bureau, located at 150 River Road in Great River.
The sailboat, which was found adrift in Bellport Bay and owner could not be located, is a 28-foot 1978 Neptune 24BC. The boat does not come with a trailer, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to remove it from the property. The boat can be dropped in the water at the Marine Bureau dock.
The auction will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held rain or shine. The boat will be available for preview on June 25 between 9 a.m. and noon and again for one hour prior to the start of the auction.
The starting bid is $100 and the boat will be sold as-is.
