This cold winter, the Islip Arts Council (IAC) warmly welcomes you to enjoy six musical afternoons at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum during the annual winter concert series.
Workers once cared for the Cutting family’s horses and carriages in the turn-of-the-century Carriage House. Now, the multifunctional building on the beautiful 700 acre State Park hosts educational programming and events, such as the anticipated IAC winter concert series.
Each concert will feature talented new musicians and a few returning fan-favorites. Parking will be limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, so attendees are asked to arrive early and plan accordingly. All concerts in the series are free admission and will begin at 1 p.m.
The concert series is funded by the NYS Natural Heritage Trust as part of their mission to further public programs for parks and recreation in the State of New York.
“Bayard Cutting Arboretum Carriage House is a great venue for the winter series,” noted Executive Director of the Islip Arts Council, Lynda Moran. “The staff and music committee are thrilled with this series and thank Natural Heritage Trust for the continued support.”
